EUROSPINE’s mandate is to promote improvements in patient care, find new means to prevent disorders of the spine, foster lifelong learning and research and bring together national spine societies under one umbrella to speak with a united voice.
The European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS) is an independent federation of European national neurosurgical societies and a fast-developing association of individual neurosurgeons from around the world.
We are a professional community whose aim is to enhance the quality of neurosurgical patient care through training, education, and research. A key way in which we fulfill this objective is by facilitating the exchange of scientific information at the highest level through the organisation of meetings, symposia, and educational courses – with the annual Congress as our flagship event.
EANS Academy with its brand-new interface provides our members with interesting content on the EANS website. A detailed map of Neurosurgical Centers in Europe is also available online, while a dedicated Surveys Section gathers some of the most interesting and important neurosurgical surveys together.
The Brain & Spine (BAS) is our peer-reviewed open-access official journal owned and operated by EANS in partnership with EUROSPINE and published by Elsevier. We are proud to have our official journal indexed in Pub Med. What began as an exciting project has now evolved into a trulyrevolutionary endeavor, aiming to make a huge impact in the neurosurgical and spine community.
